Frequently asked questions
Answers for sourcing and engineering teams evaluating DaMing as a Tier-2 custom touch and display partner. These are not quotations or performance guarantees.
Does DaMing Touch & Display provide standard off-the-shelf retail products or custom OEM solutions?
DaMing Touch & Display operates strictly as a Tier-2 custom hardware supply chain partner. We do not distribute retail consumer products or maintain public fixed-price lists. Every order is executed on an engineering project basis tailored to the client's host platform, mechanical housing, operating environment, and production volume—delivering customized component matching, firmware debugging, and volume manufacturing.
What are DaMing's core manufacturing dimensions and touch structures? Do you support OGS?
Our engineering boundaries include: 1. In-house LCM display modules customized from 0.71" to 10.1"; 2. PCAP touch sensors G+G / G+F+F / G+F (self-capacitive / keys typically 0.96"–5.0"), with project-based touch assemblies up to 55"; 3. Full optical bonding (OCA/OCR) up to approximately 32"; 4. Tier-1 display paths AUO / BOE / Tianma / Innolux / IVO / CSOT plus high-bright backlight adaptation (project-confirmed). We explicitly do not manufacture consumer-grade OGS (One Glass Solution) panels.
What are the typical MOQ requirements and prototype lead times for custom projects?
We offer tiered project support: 1. Technical Response: Initial engineering feasibility evaluation and structural proposal within 1 business day; 2. Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ): Prototyping supports 1-10 units for design verification; pilot runs support 100-500 units for specialized equipment; mass production supports volume scaling from 1,000 to 10,000+ units; 3. Prototyping Lead Time: 1-2 weeks for semi-custom prototypes based on mature tooling; 3-4 weeks for new mold openings and custom FPC tooling.
What quality certifications and long-term lifecycle guarantees are provided for medical and industrial devices?
DaMing holds ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 13485 (medical devices), and IATF 16949 (automotive, excluding 8.3 design) certifications. For long-lifecycle industrial and medical projects, we prioritize automotive- and industrial-grade controller ICs and glass panels with guaranteed 3-5+ years lifecycle availability, backed by a minimum 6-month formal EOL advance notification and pre-validated pin-to-pin replacement solutions.
How does DaMing ensure touch screen reliability under heavy electrical interference, gloves, or wet conditions?
Our engineering team conducts chip-level firmware tuning and system-level EMC validation. High-noise-immunity touch controller ICs combined with digital baseline tracking and tailored grounding layouts resolve EMI from frequency converters, motors, and switching power supplies. In addition, touch sensitivity thresholds and waterproof rejection algorithms are calibrated to match the client's specific glove thicknesses and liquid contact mediums, validated under live operating conditions.
What are DaMing's plant size, cleanroom class, and monthly capacity?
DaMing operates an approximately 5,500 m² modern cleanroom facility in Bao'an, Shenzhen, with Class 100 / Class 1,000 dust-free workshops (optical bonding / module assembly; confirm class allocation per program) and combined touch + display monthly capacity of approximately 1.5M pcs (1,500,000+). Established 2018. Inquiry reviews typically within a 4–12 hour window.
